Anti-Inflammatory Diet: Food List

Some of the anti-inflammatory foods are tomatoes, fruits, vegetables, nuts, olive oil, spinach, salmon, tuna, and sardines.

Natalie Castro, Registered Dietitian with Baptist Health South Florida, says it is important to understand that some diseases can be treated by what people are putting on their plate. "Taking foods that are anti-inflammatory means that foods that cause a lot of inflammation are going to be those processed foods, like things that come packaged, that are super high in sodium, that are going to have added fats not naturally found, and that are super high in calories."
