Breast Augmentation: Fat Grafting

Dr. Roger Khouri, Plastic Surgeon with Baptist Health South Florida, explains in a small breast or a mastectomy defect, if you stuff a lot of graft most of them are going to die, they have to enlarge the recipient with an external expander.

"In essence this is tissue engineering, because we're creating a scaffold that we see with liposuction fat to create a path. So we can make more room to put the fatness, all done with needles," he says.
