C-Section Risks

Infections, postpartum hemorrhage, blood clots, surgical injury, wound infection and increase risk of future C-sections are some of the C-section risks for mothers.

For babies there are some risks too such as breathing problems and
surgical injuries, explains Dr. Ellen Schwartzbard, Obstetrician and
