Do's & Don'ts of Suppermarket Shopping

If you are going to the supermarket don't go hungry, practice label reading, shop local and take a list. Lucette Talamas, Registered Dietitian at Baptist Health South Florida, says when you are hungry you are going to be inclined to make choices based on hunger and not what you know is the best for you.

She also recommends looking at the label of a product before it goes into your cart. "The grocery store is the place to practice label reading," she says.
