Learning about CAM, Complementary and Alternative Medicine

About CAM, Complementary and Alternative Medicine, Henry Guzman, Registered Nurse and Exercise Physiologist at Baptist Health South Florida, explains: "Complementary is anything that's going to complement traditional medicine, so anything from food therapy to exercise complement."

He also points out it is traditional in the sense that it has been rigorously tested through research and been kind of tested over all. And it is alternative as opposed to the combination of alternative and traditional medicine.

This term is referring to different types of exercises and diets, such as aromatherapy and reflexology.
