Osteoarthritis Risk in Baseball Players

Osteoarthritis is not only a condition for baseball players, according to Dr. Derek Papp, Sports Medicine Physician with Miami Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute.

The specialist affirms athletes are more prone to have a spine injury because they put a certain amount of impact in their spine over time, like baseball players.

He advises having a strong core muscle. It basically builds up the
spine and gives you kind of a mast and stabilizing factor,۝ the doctor
says.
