Preventing Arthritis & Pre-Therapy

Any form of exercise can be preventative for arthritis, says Dr. Carlos Alvarado, Orthopedic Surgeon with Miami Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute.

The physician also adds if a patient has scheduled a surgery for hip or knee replacement, it is good and helpful to do a pre-therapy in order to improve the recovery process.

The pre- therapy is basically a way to strengthen up all the muscles around the legs.
