Silent Heart Attack: Symptoms

Dr. Romeo Majano, Cardiovascular Specialist with Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute, says 20% of patients can exhibit a silent heart attack which means either they did not have symptoms or they had them but were not noticed until the EKG reveals them.

Some of the symptoms can be having a night of heartburn and a chest sensation. "There are two things that can kill you from a heart attack. One is that the damage is so extensive that you get pump failure, and the other most common reason why people die of a heart attack is arrhythmia."
