Symptoms of Insomnia

Frustration with lack of sleep, physical aches and pain, impaired performance at work, low energy, anxiety, tension, irritability, depression, and mood swings are some of the symptoms of insomnia.

Dr. David Seiden, Medical Director of the Pembroke Pines Sleep Center with Baptist Health South Florida, says physical aches and pains can be results of insomnia and there is a bi-directional relationship between pain and insomnia.
