Understanding Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

According to Henry Guzman, Registered Nurse and Exercise Physiologist at Baptist Health South Florida, carpal tunnel syndrome is one of the most common diagnoses and it happens with the compression of the median nerve that travels through the thumb, the index, the middle and literally half of the ring finger.

Some of its causes are a traumatic blunt injury, repetitive traumas from poor posturing when typing and prolonged gripping with certain professions, among others.
